Got two hours? Knit these:
What better way to tell someone you love them than with hugs and kisses, knit style? This whole set takes about two hours from start to finish. This pattern is in the book, Teeny-Tiny Mochimochi, which I got at BookWorks (a local book store), or at www.mochimochiland.com. The pattern calls for smaller yarn and needles, but I wanted bigger, so I used the yarn and needles I mentioned above. Give these in a Valentine card, or package them in a tin, for a no calorie holiday treat.Got an hour and a half? Knit this:
This is Posey, a super cute and easy pin cushion. If you’re looking for something a little different to give your Valentine, this is it. Posey is available on the website Kris Knits, at http://krisknits.blogspot.com/.Got a half an hour? Knit this:
Or knit more than one! Each one takes about twenty to thirty minutes. They can be embroidered with your Valentine’s name, or just sent as is, either way they’re so beyond cute! And addicting – it’s as close to instant knitting gratification there is. You can even put some catnip in them, for your favorite furry friend! These are very similar to the ones I made: http://www.marthastewart.com/265056/knitted-catnip-delight.This post is also on Nantucket Chronicle.
I still don't have a computer. I am posting this on a public computer in the awesome Antheneum. I will, however, try to keep posting about every ten days or so, until I can get my computer fixed. Hope you're glad to see me back!
