Nantucket Wildlife

Check out these two cuties:

These are two stuffies in the Nantucket Wildlife collections, hand knitted by yours truly (!) and sold exclusively at Sosebee Studio & Fine Art Gallery on Nantucket. Thus far, the collection includes rabbits, lambs, deer, plovers, and whales.
They're all completely one of a kind (as they're hand knitted!) and made from recycled wool.
I am just so excited about this that I had to share!

Homemade Cherry Slushie

I just had to share this recipe I got in Runner's World Magazine. It's perfect for this time of year. I have altered it a bit to be not quite so sweet.

Homemade Cherry Slushie:
2 cups ice
1 cup pitted pitted cherries
8 fl oz water
1 tbsp honey

Pulse two cups ice in a blender until pebble-sized.
Add one cup pitted cherries, one cup water, and one table spoon honey.
Pulse until slushie consistency.

I almost don't want to sell them!

It's getting to be summer, which means the farmer's / artisan market season is almost upon us! I am going stuffed animal crazy!

Then, before you know it, it'll be gift knitting season for the holidays! In fact, I've already started planning my holiday knitting, as I am determined not to fall behind this year, which I have done every single other year!
